Heading to denver next mon-wed, install 13 servers and some fiber switches, all told about 200k in equipment. Plus we’re doing a Managed Disaster Recovery customer assessment where we go into a customer site and analyze what they have and make recommendations and help take care of the recommendations assuming they sign a contract. Its a professional consulting service that we provide to bring them on board as a DR customer, then we do a moch site recovery for them to show we can recover their business on our systems/network in the wake of a disaster at their place.
Mom had to go to hospital again with A-fib due to too much build up of thryroid meds. Code 3 in ambulance and overnight stay at hospital figured it and out stabilized. She did finish Chemo and the cancer is gone so we’re on the mend.
All moved in to my new house. Feels nice to have my own house, now comes the cost of home ownership…. $2200/month mortgage, bills and utilities to go with.
I just got confirmation that my 309k loan was approved and we close on dec 15th or 16th.
Found a house just south of Tacoma for 309k, we went mutual accept and closing mid december. That means we’ll be moving mid december so I will be offline for a while. Its a 5 bedroom, 2300sq ft home built in 2007 on 1.25 acres of land.
Been a long time since i’ve even looked at my blog. Been super busy with work, family stuff (mom is 3/4 way through Chemo) and in the process of buying a house. Lots of house for 320k, just gotta find the right 1.
Been a busy month, I’ve now moved my office from Tukwila to Seattle, I’m working out of downtown Seattle now with a nice view of the city and Puget sound, Space needle is about half a mile away too. I spend most of my time in Seattle but when I need to, hit the DC in Tukwila to do some work.
Went on a camping trip last week, that was nice.
