Tacoma Mall Shooting
So yeah, that is hitting really close to home. I’m on 56th and the mall is on 48th st, just on the other side of I-5 from me. The ordeal, i’m still trying to get over the shock of it all. Even though I was just getting home from church at the time. I had many friends that were there working or shopping, some just feet from the guy as he opened fire.
One thing, AK-47 is designed for war fare, yet there was no war here. One of those times that remindes you of the reality of life. I will absolutly positivly get a handgun at age 21 and carry it with me, I’m not kidding, never know when you might need one.
My cousin was working at Wendy’s just on the backside of the mall, in the direct line of fire. She was told she would loose her job if she left, yet every place was shut down and evacuated, cops told them to leave, yet the manager’s refused to let them go from work. My cousin’s mom is filling a lawsuit now along with all those worker’s held there with their job threatened if they leave in that deadly situation. A AK-47 bullet can go blocks through wall’s and houses.
Definelty a scary thing, even though I was not there. Just shakes you up, like the SWAT raid on the house next door to me last year.
