My file server (p4 2.4ghz, 512ram, 5 yr old emachine system) finally bit the dust this week. The mobo/bios quit. I dont get anything on the screen or any beep codes when I pull memory out.
So I ordered a cheap AM2 mobo with a 4000+ x2 and I’ll take the extra 2 gigs of ram [...]
… at my new job. I am shadowing for 2 more weeks until I start my training beginning of January. Its kind of boring right now just sitting and waiting to follow someone to go do something on the server floor. Once I get done with training and working it will be fun I think. [...]

My cousin had her 3rd child last night at 7:44 and the baby was 9lbs 12 ounces and we havnet found out the full name yet, just the first name which is Neveah (heaven spelled backwards).
I start the 17th, working swing shift (noon-11pm, sunday-wednesday) at a microsoft run data center. I’m not too happy about missing church but its suppose to be only for training for a month, then after that I may have some flex schedule to work around church.
I am officially done with college today. I put in my graduation papers to show I completed 6 quarters of the Associates degree program (although I will not receive an AAT due to I did not take pre-req classes). I have orientation for my job tomorrow and start working next monday at a [...]
I’m up and running on my new dreamhost webhost. Took a while to figure out how to get the databases to move over correctly but I got it after 2 hours of trying.
Third time was not the charm for me on 70-291. I scored better than both other times but still failed it. I guess I’ll take it again after a year or so of experience.
